最近玄米か白米かを問わず、
たくさんの米が食べられるようになった私です。
半年ほど続けてみて、落ち着きつつある食生活、
肉と乳製品はほんの少しだけたまに、魚は週に1-2回、
あとは野菜を大目に、でも主食は米！っていうのが
やってみてちょうどいいというか。お酒もまえより飲まなくなった。
なんちゃってマクロビオティックな食生活であるが、
指針を持つことで少なくとも口にするものに対してまえより
センシティブになって、体と心の声を聞けるようになったのが
大きな変化です。
あくまで楽しみたいので、あまり神経質になる
必要はないし、人と一緒のときや食べたいときには自由に
肉もいただいているが、食卓での気遣いや他人に自分の嗜好や
方向性をやんわり伝える方法など、他にもやってみて
よかったなあと思うことがたくさんあります。
さて、今日は陳くんたちが日本に来ているので、久しぶりに職場の
飲み会です。思えば3月からこっち、出張ばかりで職場の飲み会には
まったく参加できていない（というか、もともと飲み会の極端に少ない職場。
全員の都合が合うなんてことがごくまれなので）ので、久しぶりです。
むしろ、陳くんたちとの方が呑んだ回数は多いだろう…ほぼ毎月だもんな。
でも、来週は自分の送別会をやっていただけるそうなので、
2週連続で職場の飲みという、会社生活始まって以来？でもないか。でも。
今日は呑むぞー。今日は、多分H氏宅の暖炉前で雑魚寝か？
おやじまんが読み放題＆暖炉で幸せなのです。
そしていつも朝、Hさん手作りの朝食をみんなで頂いてから、
帰るときに、はあ、こんなことやってる場合じゃないのよね。と
思いつつ、幸せな気持ちで帰るのです。
ちなみに、Hさんちは山の上のほうにあって、でかい畑があって、
庭もいろいろ手入れをしていて、気持ちのいい家。
幽霊がでてるが、、、私は好きなのです。
会社は来週までですが、今までおつき合いしてきた人々との関係が
より濃くなる方向で、closureできつつあるので、今、すこぶる楽しいです。
あとは流されないよう。

Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
