気が狂ったように焼き菓子を作りまくる日々…。
久しぶりに自分の台所が整ってうれしいのと、
夕方には仕事や畑が終わって風呂に入るとリセットしたみたいに
すきっとした気分になり、なんだか手仕事したくなるのだ。
今日はアーモンドとカシューナッツをぽんぽんと載せたココアサブレと、
そば粉とココナッツのクッキーと、
さつまいもと青のりのパウンドケーキ。
青のりって一度使ってそのまま…ってことが多いが、
ケーキに焼きこんでみたらこれがおいしいのだ。
花苑の池の前のヒオウギアヤメが咲き始めた。
すっと立つ姿は凜として、日本らしくとても素敵な紫色だ。
池をこの上なく美しくしている。
霧ヶ峰の絶滅種を馨さんがだいじに残してきたものだ。
今度N○Kさん、取材に来るんだって。
花苑はめくるめく植物ワールド。
日々驚くくらいきれいな花や、不思議な草木に出会う。
今日は畑の後で男の子たちと多肉植物ワールドを堪能。
みんなお気に入りのポットを抱えうれしそうに帰っていってかわいい笑顔たちだった。

Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
