『切り取って薄く延ばせば寸足らず』
先日購入した『風林火山』井上靖
現在NHKにて大河ドラマが放映されている同名の原作なのだが、現時点で山本勘助は、武田晴信（後の信玄）には仕官していない。
ていうか、これは原作と呼べるのだろうか。
まず原作では、武田家家臣板垣信方に近づく為、浪人を遣い板垣を襲わせ、自らが身を呈して助けて恩義を売った上に、勘助自身が件の浪人を斬殺しているという、
「不良にからまれたあの子を助ける茶番」
よりも全然かわいくない、口封じが先行した卑劣っぷり。
挙句、念願の武田家仕官が叶うも、晴信が諏訪家領への侵攻時に滅ぼした諏訪の娘を、有力豪族である油川の娘を側室に迎えた主君と、ふたりの側室の間に挟まれて右往左往させられる勘助という、
「愛人を多数抱える代議士の後始末をさせられる第一秘書」
にも似た小さい仕事がほぼ全編を占めている。
で、晴信がやたら側室との子作りに励むので、このままでは間違いなく「御家騒動」になると判断した勘助は、晴信に出家を断行させ、自らも法体（僧の姿）となる。
しかも、晴信の側室らからは、
「あははー、勘助もー？ お気の毒ぅ」
と笑われる始末。
井上先生、これじゃ名代の軍師もかたなしですわ。

Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
