前日に室内干しにした洗濯物を外に出す。
朝、湯豆腐。
昼、らーめん、半炒飯。
間食、チョコレートクランチ、黒糖ミルク珈琲（アイス）。
夕、冷やしたぬきうどん、
ハイネケン、バーリョ・バヘイロ。
夜、冷やしたぬきそば。
24時過ぎに気絶。
寸評：
『吾輩は猫である （上）』、図書館への返却期限が明日ということで、急遽読破。
巻末最終頁、胃弱で甘党なのに、今日に限っては晩酌を止めない主人に、身体に障るからお止しなさいなと嗜める細君にこぼす、
「大町桂月が飲めといった」
には畏れ入った。
この大町桂月なる人物は作中には登場しない。
大町氏は実在の批評家で、文芸誌に漱石の連載に対する批評文、
「ジャムばかり食わずに、酒も飲みて、酒中の趣を解したらば･･･」
なる批評を受けての返信を作中でおこなっているのだ。
続けて、
「酒許りじゃない。交際して、道楽をして、旅行しろといった」
とまで云わせている。
これじゃァこどものけんかでさァね、漱石先生。
